Find The Best Yoga Leggings

As long as you feel comfortable, you should wear whatever you want to practice yoga. That said, these days there are a plethora of yoga leggings, t-shirts and bralets to choose from but matching style with substance can still be a bit hit and miss, particularly when the pre-fix ‘yoga’ can be a licence to print money. A standard pair of decent (I’m talking the non see-through variety that hold you in in all the right places) leggings can set you back on average £25 and upwards whereas a good pair of ‘yoga’ leggings tend to start from £45 and up. If you’re on a tight budget (and many of us are) there’s no need to feel disheartened though as the best yoga retailers often run sales throughout the year and the leggings will often last you longer than your average high street pair.

Niyama Sol

Niyama Sol create

Niyama Sol create stunning and durable yoga apparel with a strong focus on eco friendly materials. Believe it or not their leggings are made from recyled water bottles! Designs are vibrant with a very hippy feel to them and I have to say I’m in love. Their leggings aren’t the cheapest (often £60 +) but I do always feel like a million pounds when I wear them. Its worth checking out their sales throughout the year in addition to those on yogarebel.com for any discounts.

Teeki

Teeki

Another firm favourite of mine is Teeki. Their prints are slightly more out there with a strong earthy feel. Additionally, their leggings are made from recycled water bottles and manufactured in the US. Average legging price: £49.95.

Whilst I think they do ship to the UK, by the time you’ve paid for shipping etc it isn’t really worth it. Yoga Rebel have a fantastic selection though and often have Teeki items in their outlet.

Yoga Leggs

Yoga Leggs

Yoga Leggs is a UK brand established in 2015 by two like minded yogis who wanted to create great fitting, colourful and uplifting, vibrant designs (and they’re certainly that). Made from a strong (non see-though fabric) their leggings really stand up to the test in any pose. Average legging price: £45, if you want to grab a pair in the sale you need to be quick as popular sizes get snapped up quickly!

Onzie

Created by a long time yogi, Kimberley Swarth, Onzie was born and bred in Venice Beach, California. Onzie has a subtle style, offering high quality yoga wear that is functional, breathable and fashionable. Average legging price: £54.95, sale prices from £22.45 (yoga rebel).

www.onzie.com – they don’t have a UK website, but do offer free shipping on orders over $200. It might be worth clubbing together with some friends to place an order rather than ordering on an item by item basis.
